RSS News headlinesKyiv, May 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The blocking of the parliament by the BYT fraction demonstrated disrespect to the Verkhovna Rada and Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko, the leader of Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense Bloc Viacheslav Kyrylenko told the press on Tuesday.
"Disrespect was demonstrated to the institute of supreme power, elected by the people, [and] to the president and his constitutional duties," he said
The blocking of the parliament was completely unexpected for the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense Bloc. The events at the parliament on Tuesday were "unpleasant both for our faction, for the whole country and for its foreign partners as well," Kyrylenko said.
