The National Electricity Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NERC) has approved retail electricity tariffs of energy supply companies for December 2008.
Tariffs are stipulated in resolution No. 1315 of the commission of November 21, 2008, the text of which has been sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
Retail tariffs for first-class electricity consumers from December 1 will be 43.58-43.62 kopecks per kilowatt-hour (not including VAT), and for second-class electricity consumers 58.46 kopecks per kilowatt-hour (not including VAT).
Next month, retail tariffs for first-class electricity consumers will remain practically unchanged compared to the tariffs set for November, while those for second-class electricity consumers will remain at the level of the current month.
