NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy asserts that there are no grounds for a new gas crisis, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.
This was a response by Naftogaz to an analytical paper by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine made public on December 8, 2009.
Moreover, the company stresses there are no financial grounds that would cause it to fail to pay for natural gas imported into Ukraine.
Naftogaz once again called on to politicians and state agencies of all levels to stop aggravating the tension around the country's largest taxpayer.
"This is because the effectiveness of Naftogaz's efforts directly requires assistance by state agencies, rather than artificial obstacles to its work," reads the press release.
