Ukraine has banned imports of sheep and goats from the Netherlands due to registration of sheep Q fever in the country.
According to a report by the state veterinary committee, the ban was imposed after the committee received a report from the International Epizootic Bureau.
In addition, the committee has permitted imports of pigs and pork from Norway, Britain and Northern Ireland.
The committee said that according to a report from the International Epizootic Bureau, there is no risk of importing the A/H1N1 virus along with farm products.
Ukraine banned imports of pork from Norway on November 23, 2009, and on September 29, 2009 it banned them from Britain and Northern Ireland.
