Ukraine's inflation in January 2010 accelerates to 1.8%

Inflation in Ukraine grew to 1.8% in January 2010, compared to 0.9% in December 2009, the State Statistics Committee reported on Monday.

According to the committee, inflation was 2.9% in January 2009, while in the next months it didn't exceed 1.5%.

Over the past 12 months inflation was 11.1%, whereas in 2009 totaled 12.3%, the report reads.
