Calyon Bank Ukraine (Kyiv) will be renamed as Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, according to a bank's press release.
The press release reads that the bank will change its name after amendments are registered in the statute documents.
The bank renaming is linked to the fact that from February 8 the parent bank Calyon changes name as Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank
Credit Agricole Group is represented by two banks in Ukraine: Calyon Bank Ukraine and INDEXBANK (Kyiv).
Calyon Bank Ukraine, which was founded in 1996, is the legal successor of Credit Lyonnais Ukraine. As of January 1, 2010, the only shareholder in the bank was France's Calyon Global Banking.
As of October 1, 2009 Calyon Bank Ukraine ranked 36th among the 182 operating banks in Ukraine in terms of overall assets (UAH 4.488 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
