Investment in Kyiv Metropolitan's development in 2010 to exceed UAH 573 m

Kyiv Metropolitan municipal enterprise expects that investment in its development in 2010 will exceed UAH 573.85 million, according to a complex program for the enterprise's development for 2010.

The plan foresees two investment programs: the renovation and improvement of main assets worth UAH 31.046 million, and the technical development and reequipment of main assets worth UAH 542.804 million.

The company's press service told Interfax-Ukraine that the complex program plan includes an uncompleted list of work, and its fulfillment would depend on financing from budgets.

The plan foresees designing and exploration work worth a total of UAH 2.841 million, work on installing new equipment, and the mechanization and automation of production and technological processes worth a total of UAH 28.204 million

It is foreseen, in particular, to install 29,440 sets of rail fastenings worth UAH 1 million per four kilometers of track.

In addition, the plan foresees the implementation of energy saving technologies worth UAH 8.389 million.

Some 22 of 33 pieces of design works (145 separate projects) will be performed by the design and technical bureau of Kyiv Metropolitan municipal enterprise.
