The program of Ukraine's cooperation with international financial organizations must be reviewed, Mykola Azarov, the candidate for the post of prime minister of Ukraine, has said.
"I hope that international financial organizations surely know the real financial state of Ukraine, [and they will] resume the program of cooperation with Ukraine… This program will be enhanced and most importantly, it will be reviewed from the point of view of those events that are taking place in our country," he said during his speech in parliament on Thursday.
He noted a new government under his leadership would cooperate with all international financial organizations, including the International Monetary Fund.
Azarov also expressed hope that an international audit to study the economic situation in the country would be held.
"I think there will be an international audit. We want to see this," he said.
