Ukraine exports almost 16.6 m tonnes of grain since early 2009/2010 MY

Ukraine exported almost 16.6 million tonnes of grain from the start of the current marketing year (MY, July 2009-June 2010) as of March 2, 2010, according to a report of the Ukrainian Agriculture Ministry, which has been also forwarded to Interfax-Ukraine.

The ministry said that over the period the amount of grain exported to foreign markets was 1.5% more year-over-year.
