Building minister proposes private businesses reconstruct tumbledown castles

New Regional Development and Building Minister Volodymyr Yatsuba has proposed private businesses be involved in the reconstruction of tumbledown castles through a mechanism of concession.

"It is necessary to conduct a competent revision, probably with the Culture and Tourism Ministry of Ukraine. To save what can be saved. To pass to concession [objects] where there is even no basement. Let rich people build new castles there. It is done this way all over the world," Yatsuba has said in Kyiv.

As reported, the parliament on March 11 approved a resolution on the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, due to which Yatsuba was appointed regional development and building minister.
