Cabinet toughens measures aimed at brining households' incomes out of the shadows

The Ukrainian cabinet plans to control activities of commercial entities, which receive large gross incomes, although officially pay wages that are less than the minimum wage or pay the minimum wages.

Cabinet resolution No. 359 of March 2, 2010 on the approval of a plan of measures aimed at brining households' incomes out of the shadows was posted last week on the Web site of the Verkhovna Rada.

The cabinet also obliged related ministries and bodies every quarter to collect and analyze information of actual expenses on wages, from which fees and duties to the Pension Fund and obligatory state social insurance funds are paid, during the drafting of plans on checks of commercial entities.
