The construction of a stadium in Lviv is behind of schedule by 60 days, according to vice premier for Ukraine's preparations for hosting finals of the Euro 2012 European football championship, Borys Kolesnikov.
"Sixty days is a serious delay, and instead of July the first match would be held in September 2011. We'll try to gain with the terms," he told the press on Tuesday.
He said that the number of workers should be increased to settle the situation, and soon 500 workers in two shifts would work on the construction site.

"If the chief constructor did not eliminate the problems, another chief constructor would be selected, but the stadium would be built," he said, adding that the Finance Ministry is ready to finance construction of the stadium in Lviv.
He said that the customer – Lviv city council –is to take UAH 11 million from the budget, and the Finance Ministry is ready to allocate UAH 40-45 million every month for the construction of the stadium.
