Kyiv-based CJSC Wild Orchid Ukraine, a subsidiary of Russia's Wild Orchid Holding, plans to expand the Defile chain of women's underwear stores to 29-30 outlets in Ukraine by late 2010, CJSC Wild Orchid Ukraine director general Serhiy Havryk, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that by September twenty more Defile stores rebranded from Bustier outlets would appear and up to five new stores would be opened this year at trade and entertainment centers in various cities of Ukraine.
"We’ve made a strategic decision and are rebranding the stores from the medium plus form to the medium form. Twenty Bustier stores are to be rebranded into Defile stores... We also plan to open new Defile outlets in new trade centers, which are to be commissioned this year. For example, in the Dniprovskaya Pristan trade center [SKY MALL, Kyiv], and maybe in the King Cross trade center [King Cross Leopolis, Lviv]," Havryk said.
