The European Investment Bank (EIB) has issued a EUR 100 million credit to Kyiv-based Forum Bank to finance the development of small and medium business in Ukraine, the press service of the representative office of the European Investment Bank in Kyiv has reported.
"Funds were issued as a part of a credit line that the EIB agreed with Forum Bank in late 2009. Another EUR 100 million [as a part of a credit line with Ukreximbank] would be issued after the signing of the agreement between the two financial institutions," reads the report.
The document says that EIB from the moment of the start of cooperation with Ukraine (since 2006) has issued EUR 465 million.
