The Boryspil International Airport state enterprise has received a further tranche of UAH 72.793 million of a credit from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
According to an official report of the airport at the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, the company received the said tranche on July 26.
As reported, the Ukrainian government and the JBIC in 2005 signed an agreement on a loan worth about $180 million to implement the Boryspil International Airport renovation project. The loan was provided for 30 years with a 10-year grace period. The project foresees the construction of a new terminal with a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour, airport infrastructure, parking lots, as well as repairs taxiways between the runway and terminals, and other renovation-related services.
