SPF could break agreement with Bryansk engineering plant on purchase of Luhanskteplovoz after September 19

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) on August 31 sent an official letter to Bryansk engineering plant, which won a tender on the sale of a 76% stake in OJSC Luhanskteplovoz, with a demand that it within 20 days pay UAH 494 million, SPF Head Oleksandr Riabchenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
According to the SPF head, the winner of the tender, apart from UAH 410 million in payment for the stake, should pay UAH 82 million in fines and UAH 2 million in penalties.
If Bryansk engineering plant does not transfer the sum mentioned to the SPF by September 19, the agreement will be broken, and the SPF is likely to announce another tender.
