Kyiv sells 80% stake in Kyivmiskbud for UAH 114 m in July 2009, says SCSSM head

A municipal stake in Kyiv-based OSJC Kyivmiskbud of 80% of the company's shares was sold at an auction on the Ukrainian Universal Exchange to New Region financial company for UAH 114.076 million, according to Dmytro Tevelev, a head of the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market (SCSSM).

"From July to September the sum was paid in four tranches," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

Tevelev said that a second bidder, which name Interfax-Ukraine has not learned, also took part in the tender.

He also said that on October 1, 2009, the deputy head of the chief municipal property department at Kyiv city administration, Yuriy Stretovych, signed a resolution on the transfer of the stake, and on June 30, 2010 the documents were received by the registrar - Terminal-Reestr.

"The new owner was registered on July 2, and the stake was immobilized in favor of the depositee – Ukraine Stock Union," Tevelev said.
