Philips replaces head in Ukraine

Reinier Schlatmann, who was head of the consumer goods sales department for Philips in Ukraine and Russia, has been appointed director general and chairman of the board of Philips Corporation in Ukraine.

A Wednesday press release of the company says that Schlatmann is to be responsible for the operating activities of all Philips' business sectors – Consumer Goods, Light Solutions, healthcare and the overall development of the company.

Philips reported that Ukraine's share of total sales in the markets of Eastern Europe in which it operates is one fifth.
