Ukrainian Vice-Premier in charge of Ukraine’s preparations for hosting the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship Borys Kolesnikov has said that work on the reconstruction of the Olympiysky National sports complex in Kyiv has got back on schedule.
"We've restored all of the preparation deadlines at the most important object, the Olympiysky stadium, according to the schedule that we promised to UEFA," he said at a press conference during his visit to the stadium on Monday.
Kolesnikov said that the stadium was to be commissioned by late July 2011.
He said that there were currently no serious problems with other Euro 2012 objects.
Kolesnikov said the construction of the stadium in Lviv would get back on schedule by the end of October 2010, and added that the preparation of all facilities for Euro 2012 should be completed by November-December 2011.
