Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn speaks out for the strict fulfillment of the parliament's functions of control over the Cabinet of Ministers.
He made such a statement during a visit to Kryvy Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday, the parliament's press service said.
"To do this, one should stop splitting the parliament into the coalition and the opposition. When the Verkhovna Rada gets consolidated, it will be able to efficiently control the government, make every minister and the government in general responsible for the undertaken obligations and demand the government's dismissal if its fails to meet them," he said.
