Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has said that an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will resume its work in Ukraine next week.
He said this while addressing a European banking and financial forum in Prague on Wednesday.
"The IMF mission will return to Ukraine next week, and in the coming two or three weeks, we will put an end to this issue and start implementing a stabilization program for 2009," Yuschenko said.
He expressed confidence that Ukraine would settle its domestic problems, including with the balances of the budgets of the Pension Fund and national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy.
