Yuschenko on visit to Azerbaijan

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko and his wife Kateryna Yuschenko left on a visit to Azerbaijan on April 9, the president's press service has reported.

Yuschenko plans to meet the president and the parliament speaker of Azerbaijan during his visit, which lasts until April 10.

The main goal of the visit is to hold the Presidential Council of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, which will focus on economic and trade cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.

Another important topic for discussion is the formation of an energy transport corridor between the two countries.
