On April 16-17, two Ukrainian diplomats will meet with Ukrainian citizens who suffered from the earthquake in the Italian city of L'Aquila.
The Ukrainian embassy in Italy agreed this meeting with the headquarters for cleaning up the earthquake consequences, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
The embassy continues collecting data about the Ukrainian citizens hit by the quake, their needs and whereabouts. As of April 15, the information about 30 Ukrainians is available.
The powerful earthquake, which hit the Italian region of Abruzzo on April 6, killed 294 people and damaged or leveled tens of thousands of homes. According to the latest data, three Ukrainians were killed in the quake.
