Ukrainian Interior Minister Lutsenko asking Rada to accept his resignation, says speaker

Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko has asked the Verkhovna Rada to consider the issue of his resignation.

Parliamentary Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn read a written statement by Lutsenko at a conciliatory council meeting on Tuesday.

According to the speaker, Lutsenko is asking the Verkhovna Rada to decide on his resignation in his absence.
