Somali pirates release Marathon vessel, 8 Ukrainians aboard

Somali pirates have released the Marathon vessel, whose crew included eight Ukrainians.

"According to the Ukrainian embassy to the Netherlands, Somali pirates released the Marathon vessel with eight Ukrainian citizens," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service told Interfax.

The Marathon accompanied by a Dutch frigate is heading for neutral waters, the press service said.
