The lawyer of former Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko MP Viktor Lozinsky, Roman Denysiuk, has said he doesn't know the whereabouts of his client.
"The last time I talked to him was yesterday. I don't know where he is now," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
"I don't carry his suitcases for him," Denysiuk added.
As reported, the Ukrainian parliament took away Lozinsky's deputy immunity on Friday, July 3.
On June 16, Valeriy Oliynyk, a 55-year-old resident of Kirovohrad region, died as a result of an incident involving Lozinsky, the former prosecutor of Holovanivsk district, Yevhen Horbenko, and the former chief of the district police department, Mykhailo Kovalsky.
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) then arrested Horbenko and Kovalsky on charges of intentionally inflicting serious bodily harm.
The PGO also asked parliament to give its consent to institute criminal proceedings against Lozinsky and arrest him.
