Ukrainian presidential candidate Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Crimea should become the "Ukrainian Hong Kong."
Yatseniuk said this during a video linkup in Simferopol while answering a question from Crimean residents about what future he sees for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as part of Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine's new government should start a new policy in relation to Crimea.
"I will charge a Ukrainian vice prime minister for Crimean issues with implementing this policy," Yatseniuk said.
According to him, a person delegated from Crimea should appear in the government of Ukraine.
"This person should bear responsibility and work on all Crimean questions every day," the politician said.
Yatseniuk said that corruption, the basic problem of Crimea, should be stamped out in order to solve tourist problems and to develop recreation.
