Ukraine's Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko and Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov agreed to create a hotline between the two ministries to settle the pressing matters of bilateral relations.
The ministers agreed on this during a meeting on Friday, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
Poroshenko and Meredov noted the absence of principal problems in relations between the two states. They exchanged opinions concerning the prospects for cooperation in construction, transport and agrarian sectors.
The ministers agreed to extend cooperation in training experts in foreign relations, in particular in the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko.
Meredov invited his Ukrainian counterpart to visit Ashgabat at any time. Poroshenko accepted the invitation.
