After the UEFA Supervisory Board's Monday meeting in Nyon, Switzerland, the Ukrainian delegation intends to progress further in the preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

"After the UEFA Supervisory Board's meeting in Nyon our delegation is in working mood and we hope for the further progress," Interfax-Ukraine learned from an informed source in UEFA on Monday.

The agency's interlocutor said that there was "no cause for sprinkling ashes upon our heads" but no causes for fanfares either.

"We were given to understand that we should be working further," he added.

As reported, Ukraine's Vice-Premier Ivan Vasiunyk and President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Hryhoriy Surkis presented a report on the progress of Ukraine's preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 at a meeting of the UEFA Supervisory Board in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday.
