Georgia and the European Union initialed agreements on visa facilitation and readmission in Brussels on November 25, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
The agreement simplifies the issuance of visas to several categories of Georgian citizens and the deportation of illegal Georgian immigrants from EU countries.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry reported earlier that, in case the agreement with the European Union is signed, Georgian business people, students, journalists, those wishing to enhance their professional qualification, and those needing medical treatment would be entitled to a simplified visa issuance procedure.
