Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has said that he will initiate the issue of the cancellation of deputies' immunity from the prosecution.
He said this at a meeting with the Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn in Kyiv on Thursday.
"I will once more initiate the issue about the cancellation of immunity," the president said.
Yuschenko once again expressed his concerns about the recent raider attacks related with land plots, in which people's deputies have been involved.
The president said he would like the parliament to consider a package of bills initiated by him. A draft law aimed at preventing MPs from conducting land-related raider attacks is among them.
"We should finally resolve this issue," the president concluded.
