Yuschenko dismisses SBU chief in Kirovohrad region

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has dismissed Serhiy Ratiyev as chief of Ukraine's Security Service in Kirovohrad region.

The president signed the relevant decree on February 8, which has been posted on the official Web site of the head of the state.

Colonel Ratiyev previously help top posts in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regional administrations of the Security Service of Ukraine and the central agency of the Security Service of Ukraine. He was chief of the Security Service in Lviv and Luhansk regions.
