Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and the Ukrainian presidential candidate, Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych, had a telephone conversation on Tuesday, the Kremlin said.
"Medvedev congratulated Yanukovych on the completion of the election campaign. which was highly rated by international observers, and the success achieved at the presidential election," the Kremlin said.
