Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that a meeting between President Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko would be expedient.
"If I were asked to give my point of view... I think that such a meeting should take place, because Yulia Tymoshenko is the current Ukrainian prime minister, there is the new president, and there should be mutual responsibility. So there should be a conversation," he told the Rada television channel on Friday.
"Whether they like it or not, they should grit their teeth and talk about what is common for the state," Lytvyn said.
