Ukrainian politicians should unite to pursue the idea of European integration, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko said.
"Issues relating to Ukraine's integration into the EU and our position on the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU should become joint aspirations of all political forces of the country," Poroshenko told Interfax.
Poroshenko says Ukraine should be united on the international scene and not use its internal contradictions to the detriment of its state interests.
In response to a question about the prospects of him keeping his position as foreign minister under President Viktor Yanukovych, Poroshenko said he is a person who "works for the state."
