Lviv Circuit Administrative Court has rejected an appeal lodged by Ihor Zvarych, the former head of Lviv Administrative Appeals Court, against ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko and the heads of Ukraine's Security Service and Prosecutor General's Office, Tetiana Turchyna, the press secretary of Zvarych's legal team has told the Lviv Portal Internet site.
According to her, Lviv Circuit Administrative Court on Thursday at its preliminary sitting ruled to close proceedings on these cases, as the appeals were not of a civil and legal character and should be considered in courts of general, civil jurisdiction, as this was a case of offence against honor and dignity.
According to the court, the words of Yuschenko regarding the case of Zvarych at a sitting of the National Security and Defense Council were the statements of a private person, not a state official. On the same grounds, the court also ruled to reject the consideration of appeals by Zvarych against Medvedko and Nalyvaichenko.
According to Turchyna, representatives of Zvarych consider the court's decisions illegal and they will appeal against them.
Zvarych in his suit against Yuschenko demanded that Yuschenko's actions be declared illegal, in particular, Yuschenko's statements that Zvarych was a bribe-taker and a criminal, although there had been no relevant verdict of a court on this at that time.
