The parliamentary factions of the Regions Party, the Communist Party and the Bloc of Lytvyn have taken decisions to form a coalition with other MPs, Parliament First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Lavrynovych of the Regions Party has said.
"Today there are decisions from three factions that will form a coalition with part of other MPs," the first vice speaker's press service quoted him as saying in an interview with Odesa Satellite Channel.
"We have not received a decision on joining the coalition from the fourth faction - OU-PSD [Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense]," Lavrynovych said.
"We may soon witness the announcement of a list of Ukrainian MPs and decisions by parliamentary factions on the creation of a coalition and the publication of a coalition agreement," he said.
Lavrynovych said that Wednesday, March 10, had been the final day of preparatory work on the coalition's creation.
"Talks on this issue have been completed with all parliamentary factions," he said.
