Prosecutor General calls on law-enforcement bodies to involve in investigation into use of budget funds by Tymoshenko's cabinet

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko is calling on law-enforcement and oversight bodies to actively involve in an investigation into the lawfulness of the use of budget funds by the cabinet headed by Yulia Tymoshenko.

"At present, Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office is thoroughly studying the lawfulness of the use of budget funds, including those received from international organizations and the lawfulness of VAT reimbursement under a president's instruction. I demand from law-enforcement and oversight bodies to actively involve in work and introduce concrete results," he said on Friday, speaking at a coordination meeting of the heads of law-enforcement bodies with participation of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
