Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense (OU-PSD) MP David Zhvaniya has said that talks on reformatting the current parliamentary coalition are continuing, his press service reported on Tuesday.
"The talks are continuing in order to strengthen the coalition so that it includes the OU-PSD faction that has those who support and oppose such a decision," he said.
As reported, a new coalition of 235 MPs, called "Stability and Reforms," was formed in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on March 11. The current coalition was created by the parliamentary factions of the Regions Party, the Communist Party, the Bloc of Lytvyn and other MPs representing no factions.
On March 2, Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn declared the breakup of the coalition of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense Bloc and the Bloc of Lytvyn.
