The signing of the new strategic arms reductions treaty in Kyiv will help strengthen the non-proliferation regime, said Ukraine's Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko.
"We believe the very fact of this agreement being signed in Kyiv could be an important signal for those countries which are still in limbo and will contribute to the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction," he told a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday after meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
