EC president asking Ukrainian and Russian prime ministers to immediately restore full gas supplies to Europe

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso has said that security of gas deliveries to the European Union has turned out to be a hostage of talks between Ukraine and Russia.
Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, a European Commission spokesperson, reported this at a briefing in Brussels on Wednesday.
She said that the European Commission president demands immediate solution to the commercial dispute on gas supplies from Russia to Ukraine and resumption of full deliveries of gas to the EU member states.
