The Strong Ukraine party believes it can win up to 35% of the vote at the upcoming local elections in Ukraine.
The head of the bureau of the Kyiv regional branch of the Strong Ukraine party, Vitaliy Hudzenko, announced this on Friday during a web conference on the Web site of the LigaBusinessInform Agency.
Asked how many votes the organization is aiming to get in the local elections on October 31, Hudzenko said: "Our plans are ambitious and realistic. We see that we can get 30% of the vote or even 35% in certain regions."
At the same time, head of Kyiv branch of the party criticized the new law on elections to local councils.
"The law is very strict indeed. Despite this, we are confident that there will be powerful Strong Ukraine factions in all the local councils in Kyiv region," he said.
