Traffic to be restricted in downtown Kyiv on August 23-24

Temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced in downtown Kyiv during the celebration of the day of the national flag and the Independence Day on August 23-24, according to the department of public relations of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.

On August 23, the traffic along Bankova and Liuteranska Streets will be closed from 1015 until 1030.

On August 24, the traffic along the section of Khreschatyk Street from Bessarabska Square to European Square will be partially closed from 0700 until 2200. In addition, the traffic will be restricted along Volodymyrska Street and Shevchenko Boulevard from 0925 until 1000 during the flower laying ceremony at the monuments to Taras Shevchenko and Mykhailo Hrushevsky.
