Under Secretary of United States for Political Affairs Burns to visit Kyiv, says MFA

A delegation from the United States, headed by Under Secretary of United States for Political Affairs William Burns, will visit Ukraine on September 8-10, Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's information policy department Oleh Voloshyn told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
"On September 8-10, a United States delegation, headed by Under Secretary of United States for Political Affairs William Burns, will visit Ukraine," he said.
According to Voloshyn, during its meetings with Ukrainian authorities, the delegation plans to discuss a wide range of issues related to U.S.-Ukrainian cooperation in the sphere of international relations and security.
"The fact that the delegation will be headed by the person holding the third ranking position in the United States Department of State is evidence of the high level of U.S.-Ukrainian partnership and promising prospects of its development," the Foreign Ministry representative said.
