Ukrainian notaries celebrating their professional holiday for first time

Notary Day is now marked in Ukraine on September 2, the Ukrainian Justice Ministry's press service reported on Thursday.
Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych congratulated notaries on their professional holiday, the press service said.
Ukraine currently has 816 notary's offices and 27 public notary archives employing 1,462 public notaries, and 642 notary districts employing 5,202 private notaries.
According to statistics, the average workload on a notary is nearly 2,500 actions per year.
Last year, public notaries collected state duty of UAH 101.625 million, while private notaries received UAH 1.2 billion for their activities. Of the latter amount, UAH 101.125 million was paid as taxes to the state budget and UAH 76.381 million as contributions to the Pension Fund.
