The Batkivschyna Party Leader Yulia Tymoshenko will hold a rally near the Verkhovna Rada on September 7.
First Deputy Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Oleksandr Turchynov said this on Thursday.
"Active participants of the Batkivschyna Party will gather outside the Verkhovna Rada on September 7 to demand that our citizens be protected from the deliberate actions of the authorities and to adopt a legislative package," he said.
According to Turchynov, the party will demand the parliament to adopt a law on a ruling of the Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal, according to which national JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy is obliged to return 12 billion cubic meters of gas to RosUkrEnergo.
He did not predict how many people would gather near the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, they sent messages about these actions to all party organizations and supporters of the Batkivschyna Party.
The seventh session of the Verkhovna Rada of sixth convocation will open on September 7.
