China intends to invest $700 million into the construction of a steam-gas power plant in Crimea, the presidential press service reported.
This project will be second largest joint investment project after the construction of a high-speed railway road from Kyiv to Boryspil Airport worth $1 billion, the statement reads.
As a result of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's visit, China is ready to invest over $4 billion into infrastructure projects in Ukraine.
In particular, China is going to provide Ukraine with an oil off-shore drilling station worth $200 million in the frames of a leasing agreement.
