Constitutional Court receives queries about maximum pensions, parliament's regulations

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has received a query about limiting the maximum amount of pension submitted by 59 MPs and the president's query about the constitutionality of the law on the organization and regulations of the parliament's activities passed on September 4 2008.

The MPs are asking the court to rule on the constitutionality of separate provisions of the 10th clause of the Cabinet of Ministers' regulation "Separate issues of social protection of certain categories of citizens" dated May 28 2008.

The 10th clause stipulates that maximum amount of pensions should be set for certain categories of citizens.
