The government led by Yulia Tymoshenko will resign if a new coalition is formed in parliament, which will submit its candidate for prime minister for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.
The deputy head of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko's faction, Andriy Portnov, announced this during the Freedom of Speech show on ICTV Channel on Monday evening.
"Our government will definitely resign if a new coalition is formed in the parliament, which will assume political responsibility, legally secure this [responsibility] by a coalition agreement and submit its candidate for prime minister to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," he said.
