A temporary commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the issues of investigating violations of legislation by the officials of Kyiv city state administration and Kyiv city council has come to the conclusion it is necessary to examine the mental and physical state of Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky, the commission has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The commission has decided to request that the Health Ministry perform the examinations.
Chernovetsky could also voluntarily undergo the examinations, as the procedure could be performed against his will only under a court ruling.
